The Learning and Development Specialist role based in Uxbridge is with a well known financial services company on a permanent full-time basis (40 hours per week).
My client is leading provider of financial services whose growth as an organisation has almost doubled over the last 4 years! They are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist, ideally from a financial services business, to join their forward thinking team on a full time permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly skilled and carefully selected team of professionals. The key responsibilities for the Learning and Development Specialist will be as follows:
Designing and developing effective training plans
Identifying training needs from e.g. appraisals, audits and communication with the companies 12 departments
Writing and executing bespoke training plans for individuals or small groups
Controlling part of the Learning and Development budget for external training
Supporting line managers to resolve certain training issues
Developing induction programmes
The successful candidate will have the following skill set:
At least 2 years previous experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or Training Manager.
Experience working in the financial services industry.
