Customer Service

JOB TITLE: Lettings Manager

LOCATION: Harrow 

SALARY: £29,000- £36,500 per annum

JOB TYPE: Permanent 

The Lettings Manager role based in Harrow is with a specialist Property Management firm on a permanent full time basis (37.5 hours per week PLUS the option for paid overtime!)

PLEASE NOTE… THIS ROLE IS NOT TARGET FOCUSSED! Although you will earn commission for the revenue achieved as a branch, you will not be heavily targeted on new business, we are searching for a natural people person with a consultative approach who will nurture existing business. 

Client Details  

My client is a Property Management business with a twist. Steeped in history they have been around for over 50 years and to this day stand out for their pioneering approach in the industry. Based in Harrow we are working exclusively on their behalf to find a Lettings Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This company are known for their outstanding personal service and their unique approach to the industry. They are a tight team who are so proud of their collective achievements ready and eager to welcome a new person into the fold! 

Description 

The key responsibilities for the Lettings Manager will be as follows:

Conducting Market appraisals and negotiating fees

Developing relationships with existing and new landlords

Calling and meeting with landlords (Tenants if necessary)

Assisting in the efficient progression of agreed deals

Responding to telephone and website leads

Working with accounts to facilitate rent relief or support them chasing outstanding rent

Working closely with all departments - accounts, renewals and property management

Serving Section 21s

Liaising with Solicitors for advice

Leading the weekly office meeting

Overseeing the negotiator

Profile 

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

2 or more years experience as a Senior Lettings Negotiator

We would expect ARLA qualified Level 2 at least or equivalent (opportunities to be more qualified will be encouraged)

Must be Car owner Driver

Someone bright with a good understanding of what GREAT service is

Someone flexible who can slot nicely into existing team

Understanding of current lettings legislation

Good telephone manner and positive attitude

Knowledge of the local area helpful

Will be required to work some Saturdays (currently 10.00-14.00 once or twice a month- this will be paid as over time in addition to basic salary)

Job Offer

LOCATION: Rainham, Essex 

SALARY: £19,000- £25,000 per annum

JOB TYPE: Permanent 

The Customer Service Agent role based in Rainham is with a well established, accredited business who supply key equipment to festivals and other similar outdoor sites/events. This role is available on a permanent full time basis (45 hours per week)

My client is a small but mighty business based in Rainham Essex. They are expanding and are now ready to take on a Customer Service Agent to join the team on a permanent basis.

Description 

The key responsibilities for the Customer Service Agent will be as follows:

Answering inbound calls. 

Making follow up phone calls after delivery.

Making courtesy calls for all services and deliveries.

Directing deliveries to the right place between drivers and the client.

Ordering stationary, monitoring stationary stock levels

Organising refreshments for meetings/Directors

Profile 

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

Previous office based Customer Service experience.

Positive upbeat attitude

Willing to get stuck in and help out- a real team player.

Previous or current experience in the construction or logistics industry would be a benefit but not essential.

Strong administration and communication skills.

Someone who can think on their feet and not fluster too easily 

Must have great attention to detail and take pride in their work

Highly organised and able to prioritise workload

Good telephone manner and positive attitude

Knowledge of the local area helpful

Flexible personality who likes to be part of a team and get stuck in.

Will be required to work some Saturdays (currently 10.00-14.00 twice a month- this will be paid as over time in addition to basic salary)

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

Could be a recent graduate with some customer service experience 

Must have experience speaking to customers on the telephone 

Full on-the-job training will be provided, this is more about your style and approach with people!

MUST have excellent written and spoken English!
